This site is valuable as I was able to check on a "friend request" from someone that made me suspicious on a social media website. The group I belong to is a close-knit bunch of people who are interested in Dog Resues and we watch out for each other.
So using the name given by the scammer I Googled and found your website easily. Just as I suspected the man is well known romancer type.
Thanks for being here.

Looking forward to hearing back from the organization as I am finding information that matches your letters and believe the person may be impersonating a real us army officer

Sadly, I have been "scammed" (lead to believe) on 3 occasions thru Zoosk, eHarmony & Tinder. I thought I was safe on eHarmony because of the stringent matching process, however, these sites do not do background checks. Ladies, please be careful. Never give out any personal information until you've corresponded for a couple months. They will ask lots of questions to build your trust, but if your gut says that something isn't quite right, than trust it! Look for inconsistencies in the grammar, tense, language. Also, all 3 of these men used a "death in the family" at the start. Scammers do this to elicit your sympathy. Be careful with giving our your cell number too quickly. Ask to remain on the website until you feel enough time has passed. They will always ask to go offline. Lastly, if the person starts calling you pet names soon after you start communicating, I would be careful. Yet another trick to gain your trust, flatter you and set you up to be manipulated.

Hello, has anyone been contacted by Howard Fredrick claiming to be from Philadelphia, PA (Palo Alto, CA, Denmark)? He has a very distinct feature - he has two different colored eyes, brown & green. He claims to work as an independent contractor for the Dept of Defense.

After being scammed once, I realised that something was off! A check on this site confirmed that my new "husband to be" was a scammer. I now check every potential partner before I respond. Thank you for making the effort to keep lonely, vulnerable women of all ages safe.
